Dear colleagues,

this summer has been a particularly busy period at IPES. We made several major device-related changes in the showroom, which required the suspension of presentations and services for several weeks.

Read on to discover the highlights of the new devices now available at IPES for your customer presentations.

The first major change in our showroom is the replacement of our UV Inkjet printer AccurioJet KM-1e HD for the new AccurioJet 30000.

Since the deinstallation and installation of a new device requires several weeks and the replacement of our MGI JetVarnish device had been in consideration as well, we decided to use this opportunity and have them both replaced at the same time.

At first glance after a couple of weeks, the showroom may seem only slightly different, but all this brings completely new possibilities for showcasing our flagship sheetfed devices.

Since the opening of IPES in 2019 more than three hundred and twenty AccurioJet KM-1 related customer presentations have been conducted. Many of them were a significant influence in more than sixty successful business cases across Europe. All three versions of the AccurioJet KM-1 were installed and presented here throughout its 10-year lifecycle.
The last one has now been replaced by the new model AccurioJet 30000 which further advances the successful concept of the AccurioJet KM-1 with improvements and new possibilities.

What`s new

  • New RIP hardware with improved speed and new “Pre-RIP” function to further improve productivity
  • Reduced maintenance time thanks to mist catchers
  • New printhead modules, plus HD mode now as standard to improve smoothness and granularity
  • Optional new highly weather-resistant ink allows production of outdoor signage with more longevity
  • Optional Dr.KM-1 customer support system
  • Optional Sentinel Vision quality inspection unit to improve production efficiency through automation and labour-saving inspection

  • Superior color stability and consistency
  • Printing on a variety of substrates (plastics, cardboard, textured, metallic surfaces, special media)
  • High flexibility and efficiency (accurate offset feed and paper transport)

MGI JETVARNISH3D

The JetVarnish3D Evo in B2 configuration was an integral part of our showroom and most of the presentations since the opening of IPES in 2019, just like the AccurioJet KM-1 printers. By upgrading to a new device with the latest technologies, we can better show our customers in details all the possibilities and opportunities they get when purchasing it.

What`s new

  • B1 configuration - larger format configuration enables us to showcase increased productivity and embellish large B1 customer sheets, offering a significant upgrade over our previous B2 machine
  • New AIS scanner improves registration process thanks to new camera technology and supports using even wider range of special substrates including glossy metallic substrates
  • Corona unit (CTS) with ceramic technology now supports substrate thickness ranging from 135gsm minimum (instead of 250gsm in the previous version with sleeve technology)

  • Top quality digital spot UV coating and hot-foiling for 2D/3D effects
