Thanks to a joint workshop with CEC Tokyo, our experts from IPES in Bratislava learned about a new manufacturer of PVC substrates.

We tested it in the production of plastic cards and it paid off. The result is really worth it!

Our PVC cards exceed ISO standards for delamination.

Our unique AccurioJet KM1eHD printing machine stands behind the great results, we laminated the cards using the MGI PressCard Pro® and cut them with MGI PunchCard Pro.

This way, we have the whole process of manufacturing and embellishing plastic cards under control.

How do we make them?

AccurioJet KM1eHD

Our flagship for printing on various substrates (including PVC film).
The most important feature in multilayer laminated cards is the connection strength of the transparent top protective film and the design printed film. The requirements for connection strength are set by ISO/IEC 7810:2019.

At IPES we have printed the test design of cards with various combinations of color coverage, which should best represent a diverse portfolio of customer designs.

How do we laminate them?

PressCard Pro®

Compact, professional and automated equipment for the production of fast cycle cards. A new innovative machine with a maximum performance of up to 1500 cards per hour.

What do we cut them out with?

An immediate cut of plastic cards with rounded corners. Cutting out cards is provided by reading crop marks using integrated optics. And all this automated and at great speed.

  • Handles thicknesses up to 850 microns

We succeeded!

FOGRA (Fogra Forschungsinsitut für Medientechnologien based in Germany) tested our cards for delamination.

In the official measurement report, it confirmed that our AccurioJet KM1eHD inkjet technology is well above the ISO delamination standard requirements.
